West Hempstead Breakfast Benefits Brain Injury Survivors
The West Hempstead community gathered for a lavish breakfast at the home of Chani and Arie Nadboy to benefit the critical work of BINA Stroke and Brain Injury Assistance on Sunday, November 23.
The program opened with remarks by Chavie Glustein, founder and director of BINA, who spoke about the organization’s early days and its current role providing groundbreaking services to brain injury survivors. Rabbi Yehuda Kelemer, Rav of Young Israel of Hempstead, then addressed the crowd with sincere and inspiring words about BINA’s unique work in the community.
The highlight of the morning was the compelling account by Mr. Chaim David of his personal journey as a brain injury survivor and how BINA has always stood at his side.
Thank you to the hosts and the West Hempstead community for their generous support.
